My folks loved to have a reason to entertain
and Halloween became a tradition!
We emptied the garage, hung up a set of black curtains
on the garage door and decorated it up
along with streamers hung from the rafters and a bar in the corner

Kitty Russell: How is it you never tell me that in the daytime?

Kitty Russell: You know something, I know a lady that could sure use a drink.
Marshal Matt Dillon: Well, I know a man that's ready to buy.
All kinds of folk dressed up for the party!
As kids, we got to stay up and watch the people arrive in costumes
but we were in bed long before the party ended!
