Now that I can open my Word docs again ... I am going to post the letters I sent to my Dad - at least the ones I've got in here. When I found out he had cancer, being so far away from him made me sad, and realize that it would be difficult for me to share stories and memories with him, even though I made the effort to go home nearly once a month during that time.... but I decided that snail mail once or twice a week with thoughts and memories I could share with him would be fun.

Dad used to tell people
we were rich because we had
TWO dishwashers:
Their names were Linda and Lori!

I used to get a real kick
out of hearing him tell that!*
