Late 60s, and another summer trip to Minnesota
Here we are with a bunch of cousins
Vicky, LeeAnn, Lenny, Maridel, and Marcia
I guess hamming it up for the camera
is a timeless thing!
My Grandfather Pape had a cabin on Cass Lake,
with a boat. We're cruising back toward his cabin
which has a "garage" just for the boat!
No running water in the cabin,
we pumped it the old fashioned way!
Why does cold well water taste so good?
We always drank it from a tin cup -
maybe that was the trick
It didn't have bedrooms, just a sleeping loft upstairs
but us girls didn't care!
(But using the chamber pot didn't sound like fun)
