Anniversary

We'll have plenty of delicious tomatoes soon! 

Growing up I wasn't a fan of tomatoes, but now .... 

there's nothing better than a slice of tomato 

with just about everything! Especially if it's home grown!

Summer Camping

Looks like we've gone camping .... in a tent?!?

That part, I don't recall, must have been one of the first trips out

and we're deciding if we like the whole tent thing?

Up in the California mountains somewhere ...

Joyful Summer

Mom's glass resin hobby had her creating these fruits.

My memory's not what it used to be, but I think the resin was mixed

and then poured into a glass form.  After it hardened, you 

tapped the glass to break it and you were left with pretty fruit!

Spring Has Sprung!

Spring has sprung and we're back to taking photos again.....

I'm betting Cousin Kathleen took the photo since she was in 

an earlier photo.  (slides out of order to accommodate Winter trip)

At some point after Kindergarten, I had Mom cut my hair short.

I don't recall why I wanted it short .... and when I asked her,

she couldn't remember either!

Looks like the gang's going swimming!

A little more Summer

I'm betting Lori made a diorama for school....

I wonder if she remembers the story behind this one??

As a side note, David is wearing glasses.  He didn't enjoy wearing them

and would often hide them outdoors, in the hedges!

So many times we had to go out and hunt down glasses!!

This was the summer we got a puppy... Charlie-O!

He sure was a cute lil thing!

It was a short life for Charlie-O. 

We didn't have him long, but we sure enjoyed his antics!
