Another Sunny Sunday!

Here we are again, must be another Sunday, we're all dressed up.
We're standing in front of these heather bushes
that were in the front of the house.
They were pretty, but too much maintenance
and way too many bees!!!

Lori and her friend, Donna Martin in matching dresses.
That's some really big flower print!

Ah, the way the kitchen looked in the old days!
All that honey wood cabinets and the linoleum!
Did Buffy the dog crawl in there for a nap?
or is she hiding before/after a bath??

Buffy was content to sit in the bike basket
while I rode around town.
I rode miles on Dad's bike!

Spring Has Sprung!

Spring has sprung and we're back to taking photos again.....
I'm betting Cousin Kathleen took the photo since she was in
an earlier photo.  (slides out of order to accommodate Winter trip)

At some point after Kindergarten, I had Mom cut my hair short.
I don't recall why I wanted it short .... and when I asked her,
she couldn't remember either!

Looks like the gang's going swimming!

Pink Flamingo still in the garden, the bushes have really grown!

Tidbits of Life

Lori and her friend, Donna Martin as Camp Fire Girls!

Lori and David with a dog - Was his name Pepper?
There are no other photos to give a clue where we're at.
You can just see a corner of the Rambler Ambassador.

Is it Easter?  Or just Spring?  Must be a Sunday!!

Matching dresses ... so cute :)

And more matching dresses.  On the left, my cousin Kathleen.
This was for the Mother-Daughter Tea at church.
The women actually set up, but the men served us our tea/lunch!
The backyard has grown up a lot, the trees are bigger
and Mom's roses are gorgeous!

Haute Couture!

Just a few random pictures of "Haute Couture"
This outfit was for a Mother Daughter Tea at church.
I don't recall what theme this was!

Mom and her sewing machine sure were handy
when it came to matching dresses!

Not sure who the little girl was, probably a neighbor
of Grandma Myrtle's, as this was in Oregon for Gary's Graduation.

And again with matching dresses, hair all poufed out ....
a Sunday outing perhaps?

With the snow white kittens at Alice and Melvin's farm in TRF.

Flowers, pre-Concrete

The "side yard" wasn't always part of the driveway
Mom spent lots of time working on her flowers
to look this good! (Love the hat, Mom!)
and speaking of looking good.....
check out the new outfits!

I remember those red Keds as if it were yesterday.
I must have really liked them to remember them all these years!
I think we were on our way to Marine World in Redwood City.
Of course, there were the dolphins and a whale
but what I remember most is the water ski show
pretty girls in a row, a silly clown doing tricks .....
simple family fun!
