The grandmother I knew was Clara (Prudhomme) Pape.
I show her living in Fairfax, Polk Co, MN in the 1920 Census.
Born in 1907, these are the older photos that I've acquired of her.
The oval one I have framed on my shelf, I just love the hat and outfit she's wearing
... she looks like she could be in a fashion magazine in the 30s!
The photo was taken by Anderson & Chickett.
Minnesota Historical Society shows them in business in St Paul in 1932.
Narrows it down pretty well! She would have been .... *math*math*math* ... 25!
Normally, I keep good notes when I acquire a photo,
but have no notes on the other two.
I would say the one is her confirmation,
she looks a little too old for first communion
(which is typically around second grade).
The other two in the photo with her .. mother? sister? Friends?
